Synopsis
On the planet Jubal, there are crystalline Presences, tall towers and ranges of various colors. To travel through the ranges without being killed, Tripsingers must use various developed songs. If the Presences are found to be and declared sentient, all human life must leave. Therefore, the Governor and other authorities, who are skimming profits from the farming of the euphoric brou and other sundry immoralities, have a vested interest in having the Presences declared non-sentient. Then, of course, there are the viggies to be considered....
