Synopsis
In his memoir, David Hurd tells us of his adventures in Kenya in the 1960s and 1970s. His travels and work in the coast lead him to many adventures, from kidnappings to wild encounters with animals and even ghosts.
Hurd becomes a fisherman and settles on what his friends christen "Robinson Island". He later builds a restaurant on it and goes through tough experiences to ensure its success. It is a story of a man in search of new beginnings and his willingness to try anything the great world has to offer him.
